    1. I just draw them by hand on a piece of paper and then scan them onto my computer! I use TurboScan on my phone because I don't have an actual scanner, hahaaa :)

  3. How do you have so many plants in your home with a kitty? I've just adopted a 12 week old tabby and everything I read online tells me plants are toxic to cats. They've scared me out of feeding my plant addiction!

Also - what kind of kitty do you have? He's huge!

    1. Funny you should ask -- these images are actually from a post going up on the Free People blog on Monday about 5 plants that are pet-safe! You're right though, there are SO many that are dangerous -- it's crazy. One idea I came up with for plants that are toxic to animals though... hang them! As long as your cat has no access to them, you should be totally fine. :) But if you go on ASPCA's website you can search which plants are okay for cats!

And, I have no idea what kind of cat he is! He was a rescue. He is HUGE though. My little muscle man.

  4. I really want to add more plants to our home as well! I have the brownest thumb, though. I've started with a tiny pink cactus that I lurve soooo much...I've managed to keep him alive for nearly 4 months - I'm sure the lack of water needed has a lot to do with that, though. hahaha! Hopefully, over time, we can add more variety. Yours are lovely and your cat is adorable!! LOVE it! Thank you for sharing. :)

Good luck with your jungle, may your plants be healthy. They bring such a peacefulness and beauty to any space.

  6. Love your cat ♥ I prefer bamboos hanging on the roof or wall in my bedroom, they don't die ^^ Plants don't like long vacations but my bamboo is already three years old and still alive. Keeping a mason jar full of water is not that hard :)
