There's something so appealing to me about anything that's raw; unedited; in its original form. It's like a rare peek behind the scenes in today's world, where we're constantly putting things out there for the world to see -- but never without first carefully selecting, curating, and altering.

  1. Hey Brigette - Just wondering what kind of program you use to edit photos - mainly add text to a photo. Thanks!

    1. Hey! I first write the text by hand and then scan it -- I don't have an actual scanner so I use an app called TurboScan.

Then I remove the white background from the text in Photoshop. I can't find a tutorial that shows exactly how I do it, but this looks like another way that will work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQX6duVj_Dw

Once the white background is removed, you can just layer the text on top of an image in Photoshop! Sounds like a lot of steps, but once you get going, it doesn't take too long. :)

  2. As I get older I'm finding the beauty in simplicity, of things in their original form. It's so liberating.
